|I can't speak for Fred, but I promise NEVER to check inside
your boat for
|foam blocks at a regatta.
Wouldn't it be safer to check for FLOTATION...
if there were the proper kind of "bottles" (I think they are
called 'cubitainers')in the hull, just don't check for the year
to see which was originally installed.
I'd hate to think that someone would remove the rotting, soaked
foam and not replaced it with adequate flotation.
in my 'old' boat #61951 there was NOTHING in it when i bought
it. I guess someone had removed the foam junk... end of repair
job. I bought a full set from Pearson and instlled them...illegal,
but much safer than nothing.
