Not sure if I want to step into this but here's my $.03 worth anyways.
Performance Sailcraft of England are the builders of the Laser Pico and Laser
Cat as well as the Laser 3000, 4000, 5000 etc..So complain to the Brits.
Vanguard imports the boats named that way so they probably won't call the
Vanguard Pico or Vanguard Cats. If naming a few other products "Laser" helps
Performance and Vanguard sell more boats and stay in business (which helps
little guys like me stay in business) the more power to them. Now I am off to
have a "Laser" skin peel to make me feel younger :>)....Scott Fox The
