I believe you are talking about the Expeditions not Explorers (they are both
Ford SUVs :>). The 12 was actually a Zuma Hull with Escape rig and the 14 was
the Laser II hull with very large Escape rig. Both boats sailed real well and
were big sellers in more traditional markets then the clorox bottle built
Escapes. I believe Vanguard built the hulls for Escape for a year but then
Escape stopped selling them as they concentrated on their plastic boats.
