I would still say that the Laser II is NOT a laser name rip off.  If you look 
at the similarities of the hull shape, and such, it is very much a laser.  
Also the handeling characteristics and basic design.  Its like saying that 
because the C&C 35 is the only C&C built.  Yeah there is a split between 
those built in the past two years under the same name now owned by tartan, 
but all the same vintage boats were very much C&C's all the way.  All very 
similar, yet different sizes, with the same basic shape.  

I guess all I am trying to say, is if you line up all the boats using the 
laser name in time sequential order, the laser, radial, 4.7 and the >> all 
look like the are the same lineage and therefore deserving of the name, the 
rest are not, and just abuses of the name.
