Hi Guys,
The discussion about women laser sailors would not be complete without a
mention of Carolle Spooner, of the Seattle Laser Fleet.
Carolle was 1st in Women's Div. at the 1983 N.A.'s; 3rd in Women's Div.
at the '83 World's; and won numerous other races throughout the Pacific
Northwest and Canada.
Back in the early 1980's I had the pleasure of racing lasers as a member
of the Seattle Laser Fleet. On any given Monday evening on Lake
Washington, or at any weekend event throughout the N.W., Carolle would
regularly show "us guys" how a laser can to be sailed!
She and Dick Rose are two of the finest people I've had the pleasure of
sailing lasers with over the past 25 years.
