Fred, this non-traditional notice, perhaps more in line with the postings
I see for the Easter Bunny regatta should suffice for the Winter issue of
our favorite quarterly. Let me know if you need anything else.

		Millenium US Masters Regatta
		----------------------------

Date: October 13-15.

Host: Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Deltaville, Virginia. The club has hosted
the Atlantic Coast Laser Masters Regatta for the past three years and has
developed a reputation for good hospitality as well as the best yacht
club food in the country. Our efforts over the past three years have been
rewarded by our being asked to host the 2000 US Masters Regatta which the
club views as an honour. And by waiting until October we avoid the early
September hurricanes that have caused concern to long distance travellers
in most of the past five years; and at least as important, based on
experience over the recent past, we will have more demanding conditions
and give Gary Bodie a chance to get home from Oz. If you need convincing 
about the facilities we offer at Fishing Bay simplytalk to someone who has
visited. Some of us are lucky enough to have ready year round access and
we are understandably prejudiced.

Schedule: Registration Thursday 18.00-20.00, Friday 08.00-10.00 followed
by skippers meeting at 10.30 and first warning signal at 12.00 for up to
three races. Races Saturday and Sunday starting at 10.00.

Courses: As prescribed by ILCA for this category regatta.

Scoring and Awards: As above. 

Entry Fee: To be determined, but modest, and to date we have had zero
grievances about the value our visitirs receive at Masters Regattas.
