A couple guys did it with Snipe sails on our lake about ten years ago. The
ice boat didn't go very fast because the sails were shaped wrong or
something. I was too young to know.
Then they used the Snipe sails and a Lightning spinnaker on a haywagon. They
pushed it to get it going and it was fine on clean ice for reaches and runs.
They took me for a ride and I got some mild frostbite on my cheeks. I
remember Mom was really mad at them.
They couldn't make it go toward the wind and they had to get a jeep to tow us
back up the lake.
