Re: mailing lists changes for the better ?

 Hello everyone,

I would like to concur with Dave Buckley's opinion.
I am new to laser sailing, I got a '74 from my brother in law who'd had it leaning up against his house for 10 years. (Yes, it has a nice fat beautiful mahogany centerboard, which I have had to repair splits in twice.. I wonder if it still fits through the "template" with three coats of marine varnish on it.)

I have had the boat out maybe 15-20 times now, and am getting to the point - thanks partly to Lanie's boat handling advice - where I can gybe it without getting dunked. Needless to say I am not a threat on the racecourse...

Where would I be without the advice that I have gotten from this list? It has helped me hugely with information on handling as well as maintenence for my old boat. Please don't take away a resource which is a very good form of outreach for the ILCA.

Regards,

Kurt Weiser
