I'm glad that some discussion is now taking place regarding this Mailing
List. Regarding ILCA N.A. V.P. Lainie Pardey's suggestion to to have a
version of the Mailing List that would cater to issues of relevance only
for Class Members, one idea may be to offer multiple TRACKS in the
Mailing List. Say a track for Rules, another track for Boat Handling,
etc.
This would address both the inclusion/exclusion philosophy raised by
Eric Robbins et al. as well as the concerns raised by some related to
devoting too much time to "non-sailing issues" on this List. Yeah, it
would require some work for ensuring proper channeling of postings, but
that's life, I guess.
Any opinions?
