here is my personal grunge and thing that needs
to be updated on the laser:
the centerboard
twice in three years i have punched a hole in
the trailing edge trying to do a dry flip with my foot. my buddy sliced his knee
open when he did it by mistake. i suggest that the centerboards be made with an
aluminum rod about 3/4 in from the trailing edge so that each wouldn't break
because of "imperfections" that so many seem to have. it would save $
and trips to the sailing store. i don't think it would be too expensive, and it
would in no way make old lasers obselete.
